Pickme India picks up funding

Mumbai-based Pickme India picked up $1.79 million bringing its total funding to date to $4.7 million. The company offers insurance and warranty for new gadgets, as well as repair services for electronics, allowing users to schedule pick up of broken item, to later have it repaired and delivered back to the owner. With the extra cash, the 5-year-old startup plans to build its own repair centers for select brands. Bottom Line: in theory? See below Facebook feed.
