Driving analytics startup gets the spotlight

San-Fran based startup Zendrive has raised $13.5 million in Series A funding led by Sherpa Capital for its software that analyzes data coming off smartphone sensors to gather information on safe driving, part of a growing movement to use technology to track drivers. Bottom Line: Zendrive has also hired a vice president of insurance to explore business opportunities in the insurance industry.
