Insureon Has a New CEO
Insureon, the provider of insurance to small- and medium-sized businesses, announced the appointment of Dan Kazan as CEO. Kazan has also been named a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Ted Devine, who will remain with the company as Co-Chairman of the Board after agreeing to a multi-year deal to stay involved in the firm.
Kazan is an accomplished chief executive officer and senior leader who has helped transform and grow businesses in a wide range of industries, including financial technology, media, marketing and information services. Most recently, he was the CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Rewards Network, a technology-enabled provider of financing and marketing services to the U.S. restaurant industry, where he led the company through a period of tremendous growth.
Previously, Kazan was the CEO of Tribune Media Services (now known as Gracenote, a Nielsen company), a global leader in entertainment-related information services. His prior experiences also include senior strategy and corporate development roles at Tribune Company.
