Walgreens, Humana, in Preliminary Talks to Trade Stakes
Walgreens and Humana are in preliminary discussions to take equity stakes in each other, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
In July, Walgreens launched Find Care Now, a new digital platform and marketplace that connects people to healthcare services at Walgreens stores and to a growing selection of recognized providers. The company is looking to position itself as more of a broader healthcare company helping to transform patient experience, while lowering costs.
