Trov announced a partnership with Munich Re to bring its on-demand insurance for single items to the US market in 2017. Recall: Trov, which is currently active in Australia through Suncorp, allows customers to purchase insurance coverage for electronics for whatever duration they want. Also recall: Munich Re previously announced collaboration with Slice around its on-demand ridesharing coverage, which hasn’t hit the streets yet. It appears Munich Re Digital Partners CEO Andrew Rear is bullish on micro-duration-slash-on-demand products.
