Think: a fun and easy way to share photos and stay connected with loved one – designed by warranty insurance provider Asurion with grandma in mind. Let me explain. The project – introduced back in April – was/is a small-scale test to measure seniors’ interest in using an easy-to-use interface that requires no setup and includes large fonts, clear buttons, and audio notifications to send and receive messages. Btw, speaking of pilots, the Gappie pilot has been finalized. But… “Stopping the pilot does not mean the end of Gappie.” Gappie was a mobile-first initiative for temporary car insurance introduced by NN Group’s innovation lab Sparklab last year.
