Asurion launches NEXT event series
Asurion launched “Asurion NEXT,” a new bi-annual event series focused on showcasing the company’s technology platforms, AI capabilities, and connected device support strategy.
At the inaugural event, CEO Guru Gowrappan outlined Asurion’s push beyond traditional protection plans toward integrated support experiences spanning device setup, repair, replacement, and ongoing assistance across the home technology ecosystem.
The company said the strategy centers on embedding AI into customer support, building unified platforms, and expanding partnerships across the technology sector.
Asurion also highlighted recent growth initiatives, including its planned acquisition of UK appliance care provider Domestic & General and a new partnership with a global OEM to expand into the consumer PC support market.
Gowrappan, who joined Asurion in October 2025, said the company is investing in connected, end to end support capabilities as it expands across consumer technology and appliance categories.
