Drone Insurance PaaS Raises Seed Round
Tel Aviv-based SkyWatch has raised $2M in a Seed round led by venture capital firm F2 Capital, private investment firm Kaedan Capital, and Verizon Ventures, as reported by Calcalist.
The startup, in beta mode, was established in 2016 to offer a mobile-first risk assessment and purchase platform for drone insurance. Features include: (1) risk map, (2) pay per hour coverage, (3) instant purchase, (4) post flight analysis, and (5) real-time safety warning in case one is “flying out of pre-planned area”; to name one use case.
