Automation Anywhere to acquire Boost.ai

Automation Anywhere has agreed to acquire conversational AI company Boost.ai from Nordic Capital, adding customer-facing chat and voice capabilities to its business automation platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Boost.ai serves hundreds of organizations, with a particular presence in Europe and regulated industries including insurance, financial services and telecommunications. Its platform supports more than 36 languages and combines natural language understanding with generative and agentic AI to handle customer conversations.

Automation Anywhere plans to connect those conversations to the systems and workflows needed to complete customer requests. For example, a request made through a voice or chat interface could trigger work across enterprise applications, with employees handling exceptions or decisions requiring judgment.

“By joining Automation Anywhere, we can connect the conversation, including voice, directly to the systems and people who get the work done, so a customer’s request is handled from start to finish.” – Jerry Haywood, CEO of Boost.ai.

The deal follows Automation Anywhere’s acquisition of Aisera in late 2025, which added AI tools for employee support and enterprise knowledge.

Automation Anywhere provides software bots and AI agents that automate tasks across business systems. The company says it serves more than 4,000 customers in over 90 countries.
