World Insurance acquires Zoom Insurance

World Insurance Associates  has acquired the business of Zoom Insurance, an Irving, Texas-based agency specializing in convenience stores and gas stations. The transaction closed on July 1, 2026. Terms were not disclosed.

Zoom serves individuals, families, businesses and specialty organizations. The acquisition expands World’s presence in the greater Dallas and Houston areas.

Zoom owner Zulfiquar Ali Prasla said joining World will give clients access to additional products and services.

Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla served as legal counsel to World, with Foretrust advising on the transaction. MW Law served as legal counsel to Zoom.
