Verlingue Portugal joins Worldwide Broker Network

Verlingue Portugal has joined the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), expanding the insurance broker’s ability to coordinate coverage for businesses operating internationally.

Verlingue was a founding member of WBN in 1989. It operates in France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Portugal and Italy, supported by a network of independent brokers in more than 100 countries.

The Portuguese subsidiary’s membership will strengthen collaboration with other WBN brokers and support companies operating in Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula. For clients, it will help align insurance programs across countries while addressing local regulatory and operational requirements.

The move forms part of parent company Adelaïde Group’s Better Future 28 strategy, which aims to establish Verlingue as Europe’s leading independent family-owned insurance broker.
