Verlingue appoints Bertrand Piquiaud to lead fleet business

Verlingue has named Bertrand Piquiaud as Head of its Fleet division as it looks to strengthen its position in the large automotive fleet insurance market in France and abroad.

With nearly 250,000 vehicles insured and over 60,000 claims managed annually by a team of 70 experts, Verlingue is a major player in the fleet insurance space, particularly in freight and passenger transport. The appointment of Piquiaud reflects the company’s goal to offer tailored solutions and anticipate evolving industry needs.

Piquiaud brings over 25 years of experience in insurance and brokerage, including more than 15 years at AXA XL, where he led fleet underwriting strategies both in France and internationally. His experience with major accounts and leadership capabilities are expected to help accelerate Verlingue’s growth in this segment.

The move comes as Verlingue invests in enhancing its customer experience, including a redesign of its Easy@ccess Automobile extranet and the Mobil@ccess app, aimed at simplifying fleet management for clients.
