Aviva adds CyberScout helpline for home insurance customers

Aviva has added a 24/7 cyber safety helpline from CyberScout, part of TransUnion , for eligible UK Aviva Signature home insurance customers at no extra cost.

The service provides guidance on online scams, identity fraud, extortion attempts, and cyberbullying, as well as everyday concerns such as suspicious emails or accidentally clicking a link. Customers can speak with a dedicated support specialist for help reporting fraud, contacting banks and card providers, securing personal information, and reducing further harm.

For cyberbullying incidents, CyberScout can advise customers on preserving evidence, preventing further contact, and reporting harassment to platforms and law enforcement.

The helpline is available through Signature Club, which is limited to customers who purchase eligible policies directly from Aviva. Launched earlier this year, the club also offers discounts and cashback across more than 800 brands. Its benefits are non-contractual and are not part of the insurance policy.
