MSI expands embedded insurance to manufactured housing

MSI , the MGA owned by The Baldwin Group, has extended its embedded insurance platform to manufactured home communities. Available nationwide, the offering combines insurance coverage options with automated compliance tracking through LeaseTrack.

The platform embeds coverage and tracking into operators’ existing leasing processes, giving residents a way to meet lease insurance requirements and property managers a system to monitor coverage. MSI says the offering builds on the model it has used to distribute renters insurance to more than one million residents through property management technology platforms.

MSI says the US has nearly eight million manufactured homes housing more than 16 million people. The company plans to expand its offering alongside community operators.

Founded in 2015, MSI joined The Baldwin Group in 2019 and offers more than 20 insurance products and solutions across personal, commercial and professional lines.
