Scription partners with GlacierGrid
Scription is partnering with GlacierGrid to offer equipment monitoring to small commercial operators through its broker and commercial real estate partners.
The offering, called RoofIQ Plus, pairs GlacierGrid’s wireless sensors and monitoring platform with Scription’s fixed-price HVAC service contracts. The sensors track rooftop units and flag potential problems, including short cycling, airflow issues and failing components. Scription’s contracts cover failures caused by ordinary wear, age and use.
According to GlacierGrid , its platform is deployed across more than 5,000 commercial locations. Scription plans to distribute RoofIQ Plus through retail insurance brokers and commercial real estate partners.
Founded in 2020, Scription has raised more than $10 million from investors including IA Capital, Markd and Cameron Ventures. GlacierGrid’s Series A was led by Zero Infinity Partners, with participation from Deciens Capital, CityRock Venture Partners and Collaborative Fund, among others.
