Specialty Comp Insurance Solutions rebrands as ANV Comp

ANV Group Holdings  has rebranded Specialty Comp Insurance Solutions as ANV Comp, following its acquisition of the workers’ compensation MGA in June.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Dallas, ANV Comp generated approximately $250 million in gross written premium in 2025. The business provides monoline workers’ compensation coverage to middle-market employers through wholesale brokers.

Its portfolio spans construction, utilities, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, equipment rental, waste management, forestry, oil and gas, aviation, and other industries. ANV Comp operates with capacity from an A-rated carrier.

Robert Etzler, who joined ANV in March, will lead the business. He will also oversee Risico, ANV’s workers’ compensation MGA focused on the agriculture and food-manufacturing industries. Etzler previously held leadership roles at Arrowhead, Atlas General, Midwestern Insurance Alliance, and Paragon.

Mike Beck will continue as chief field underwriting officer, while Matt Feury will serve as senior vice president of underwriting.
