Achmea opens new office in Tamworth

Achmea Farm Insurance has opened a new office in Tamworth, Australia, as the agricultural insurer expands its regional presence.

The office brings together employees working across underwriting, client experience, policy support and growth, as well as farm insurance specialists who visit clients on-site. It will not operate as a customer-facing branch.

Achmea entered the Australian market in 2013 and sells agricultural insurance directly to farmers. The company is part of the Netherlands-based Achmea Group.
