Achmea appoints Rogier Peters as CRO

Achmea has appointed Rogier Peters as a member of its Executive Board and Chief Risk Officer, effective October 1, 2026. He will succeed Michiel Delfos, who is stepping down from the role.

Peters joins from MSIG Europe, where he has served as CRO since 2020, focusing on property, casualty, and marine lines. He brings more than two decades of experience in insurance and risk management, including prior CRO roles at Ageas UK and Etiqa.

The appointment strengthens its risk oversight as it executes its strategy toward 2030, with an emphasis on integrated risk management.

Following the appointment, the Executive Board will consist of Chair Bianca Tetteroo, CFO Michel Lamie, Peters as CRO, along with Daphne de Kluis, Robert Otto, and Lidwien Suur.
