Mosaic expands North American financial lines business

Mosaic Insurance  is expanding its North American financial institutions and professional liability business with new products and several hires.

The insurer introduced a primary miscellaneous professional liability policy and a primary asset manager policy combining directors and officers, professional liability, and fund liability coverage. It also launched Innovator One, a modular product for fintech and digital asset companies that combines private company D&O, professional liability, crime, cyber, and technology coverage.

Mosaic hired Risa Kleiner as SVP of Financial Institutions and Daniel Frusciano as SVP of Professional Liability, both based in New York. The company’s US financial lines team now includes 12 employees, while its global team has 24 specialists.

Mosaic also offers financial institution bonds and lead Side A difference-in-conditions coverage and plans to introduce private and public company D&O products.
