Marsh reports 6% revenue growth
Marsh reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $7.4 billion, up 6% from the prior-year period and 5% on an underlying basis.
Operating income increased 4% to $1.9 billion, while adjusted operating income rose 5% to $2.2 billion. Net income attributable to the company reached $1.3 billion, with adjusted earnings per share increasing 9% to $2.96.
Risk and Insurance Services generated $4.8 billion in revenue, up 4% on a reported basis and 3% on an underlying basis. Marsh Risk revenue increased 6% to $4.1 billion, including underlying growth of 4% in the US and Canada and 5% internationally.
Guy Carpenter revenue declined 2% to $664 million, while Consulting revenue increased 10% to $2.6 billion. Mercer revenue rose 7% to $1.6 billion, and Marsh Management Consulting revenue increased 15% to $1 billion.
During the quarter, Marsh repurchased approximately 4.5 million shares for $750 million. Earlier this month, its board increased the quarterly dividend by 10% to $0.99 per share.
