Gallagher acquires commercial broker Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services

Gallagher has acquired Burnaby, British Columbia-based Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services, a retail insurance brokerage serving commercial clients across Western Canada. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1987, Wilson M. Beck specializes in commercial insurance with expertise in construction, commercial real estate, surety bonding, hospitality, and mining. Following the acquisition, the firm’s team, led by David Beck, will remain in place and operate under the leadership of Dave Partington, who oversees Gallagher’s retail property and casualty brokerage operations across Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The acquisition expands Gallagher’s commercial insurance brokerage presence in Canada and strengthens its capabilities in several specialized industry sectors. Financial terms were not disclosed.
