Canopius appoints Steve Parry as Group Chief Claims Officer

Canopius has appointed Steve Parry as Group Chief Claims Officer, effective August 2026. Parry joins from Hiscox, where he served as Group Claims Director, and previously held senior claims leadership roles at AIG and ACE/Chubb.

Parry will join the Canopius Group Leadership Team and report to Group CEO Neil Robertson. According to Robertson, the appointment supports the insurer’s efforts to build a more customer-focused and increasingly AI-enabled claims function that is integrated with underwriting, risk management, and capital deployment as the business expands across its four regions.
