Intact expands risk management service

Intact Insurance  is rolling out Risk Assist across its entire commercial lines portfolio, making the risk management service available to all commercial policyholders.

The service is designed to help businesses identify and manage everyday risks through self-assessment tools, action plans, training modules, templates, and access to HR and health and safety specialists. It covers areas including health and safety, human resources, business continuity, and driving risk.

According to Intact, Risk Assist is particularly aimed at small and medium-sized businesses and complements the insurer’s specialist risk consulting services for more complex risks.

The insurer said the offering will also help brokers support more risk-focused customer conversations and differentiate their services beyond pricing in a competitive market.

Risk Assist is included with all Intact commercial policies and forms part of the company’s broader strategy to help customers address risks earlier and improve long-term business resilience.
