Hippo launches Hippo+

Hippo has launched Hippo+, a new offering that combines homeowners insurance, home warranty protection, proactive home care services, and dedicated advisor support into a single package.

Currently available in Central Texas, Hippo+ offers three coverage tiers. The Basic plan includes homeowners insurance and HVAC warranty protection, while the Core and Enhanced plans add coverage for major home systems and appliances.

The homeowners insurance component is underwritten by Spinnaker and distributed through the excess and surplus lines market. Home warranty coverage is provided by HomeSure of America, a Cinch company, while claims administration is handled by Cinch Home Services .

In addition to insurance and warranty coverage, Hippo+ includes seasonal home maintenance services, a 180-day workmanship guarantee, and access to dedicated home advisors who assist homeowners with repairs, maintenance scheduling, claims support, and troubleshooting.
