Orion180 to sponsor college basketball season opener in Florida

Orion180 Insurance has been named the title sponsor of the inaugural Orion180 Tip-Off Classic, a college basketball doubleheader set to open the 2026 season at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa on November 2.

The nationally televised event will feature Florida vs. Miami and Florida State vs. Florida A&M, with coverage across ESPN networks. The event is being organized by Total Sports Consulting and is expected to become an annual season-opening showcase for college basketball in Florida.

According to Orion180, the sponsorship aligns with its efforts to expand its presence through sports and entertainment partnerships. Founded in 2016, the Florida-based insurer offers homeowners, landlord, flood, and jewelry insurance products and serves more than 500,000 customers through a network of over 10,000 agents.
