Orion180 files for IPO

Orion180 Insurance Group has filed a registration statement for a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock.

The Florida-based homeowners and flood insurance provider has applied to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker “OIG.” The number of shares and expected price range have not yet been disclosed.

Founded in 2018, Orion180 describes itself as the second-largest E&S homeowners insurer in the US by direct written premium. The company operates across 14 states and distributes E&S and admitted homeowners, private flood, and ancillary products through more than 14,000 active independent agents.

RBC Capital Markets, UBS Investment Bank, and Raymond James will serve as lead book-running managers. Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank Securities, Citizens Capital Markets, and Texas Capital Securities will also act as bookrunners.

Bottom Line: Chubb holds the top spot. According to S&P Global Market Intelligence, Chubb was the largest US E&S homeowners insurer in 2025, with $416.5 million in direct written premium.
