Guardian names Nancy DeRusso Head of Client Solutions

Guardian announced the appointment of Nancy DeRusso as Head of Client Solutions, a role focused on advancing the company’s protection-first approach to wealth management.

DeRusso will oversee Guardian’s protection and wealth strategy, with responsibilities spanning planning, investment capabilities, and advisor support. The company said the role is designed to strengthen the advisor and client experience while delivering more personalized financial guidance.

She joins Guardian from Goldman Sachs Ayco, where she spent more than 20 years in leadership roles, most recently serving as Head of Financial Planning, Financial Wellness, and SurvivorSupport.

The appointment follows several initiatives aimed at expanding its wealth management platform, including a partnership with Avantos to support planning-led advice, the launch of Guardian Wealth Advanced Markets, the rebrand of Park Avenue Securities to Park Avenue Wealth Management, and partnerships with Janus Henderson, Hamilton Lane, and HPS Investment Partners.
