General Motors Insurance launches in Maryland
General Motors Insurance is now available to car owners in Maryland.

Coverage is now live in 21 states: AZ, TX, GA, MN, MD, IA, MO, IL, IN, OH, PA, TN, VA, AL, OK, AR, CO, LA, MI, WI, and FL.
In 2025, GM National Insurance Company generated $59 million in written premiums, up from $20 million in 2024.
The carrier reported a net underwriting loss of $80.5 million, up from a loss of $58 million in 2024.
