Farmers appoints former GEICO executive as Chief Strategy & Risk Officer
Farmers has appointed John Pham as Chief Strategy & Risk Officer, reporting to CEO Raul Vargas, as the carrier looks to strengthen execution and operational performance across the organization.
Pham will be responsible for translating strategy into measurable outcomes, with a focus on execution discipline, operational efficiency, and technology-driven improvements.
He joins from GEICO, where he most recently served as Head of Strategic Business Initiatives, overseeing operational shared services. His work included advancing contact center automation, enhancing customer experience, building enterprise learning programs, and developing quality frameworks tied to customer insights.
Earlier in his tenure at GEICO, including as Chief Information Officer, Pham led large business units with P&L responsibility and implemented initiatives aimed at driving growth and improving service.
