W. R. Berkley announces executive appointments

W. R. Berkley  has appointed Lee Iannarone as executive vice president and named Stephen Kennedy senior vice president and general counsel, effective immediately.

Iannarone joined Berkley in 2023 as senior vice president and general counsel and will now assume oversight of certain company businesses. He brings more than 25 years of experience, including prior roles as general counsel and chief compliance officer at a global reinsurance company.

Kennedy joined Berkley in 2020 as vice president and senior counsel. His background includes insurance and reinsurance transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, corporate governance, and dispute resolution. Before Berkley, he held senior roles at an international law firm and a domestic reinsurance company.
