AXA XL appoints Jeffrey L. Loop as Head Of Media Liability

AXA XL  has appointed Jeffrey L. Loop as Head of Media Liability, strengthening its focus on helping clients manage rising legal and reputational risks tied to today’s digital media environment.

Based in Los Angeles, Loop reports to Michelle Chia, Chief Underwriting Officer, Cyber, Design & Select Professional. In the role, he will lead AXA XL’s media liability strategy as exposure grows from user generated content, AI driven technologies, and evolving global regulations.

Loop brings more than two decades of experience spanning media, privacy, intellectual property, and technology law, with deep specialization in underwriting and risk management for digital media companies. His background includes advising media and technology firms, handling complex claims, and developing coverage approaches tailored to modern content driven businesses.

At AXA XL, he will focus on expanding and refining media liability solutions for a broad client base, including content creators, digital first companies, and brands increasingly reliant on content marketing as part of their business models.
