Tesla partners with Oona Insurance

Tesla has partnered with Oona Insurance to offer one year of comprehensive coverage for every new Model Y delivered in the Philippines. The insurance is activated at the point of delivery and includes digital claims, nationwide roadside assistance, and coverage for 12 months from release.

The partnership comes as EV sales in the Philippines reached 18,439 units in the first eight months of 2025, representing 6% of total auto sales, with Tesla leading the battery electric segment at over 2,000 units sold. Oona, positioned as one of Tesla’s preferred insurers, supports the brand with EV-specific pricing and access to certified repair partners.

Customers receive the policy as part of their Model Y purchase, with activation handled directly by Tesla and Oona during the handover process.
