GAINSCO introduces 12-month auto policies in six states
GAINSCO has rolled out 12-month auto policies in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, giving drivers the option to lock in their rate for a full year.
The move offers price stability at a time of frequent auto insurance repricing, while reducing renewal touchpoints and paperwork for customers who typically cycle through six-month terms. GAINSCO says the extended term can also help prevent lapses in coverage and give drivers more predictable monthly payments.
For agents, the longer policy period means more consistent retention and additional time to rebuild relationships with non-standard drivers working toward better future rates. GAINSCO plans to expand 12-month availability to more states.
