Berkley One updates classics coverage across five states

Berkley One  is updating its Berkley One Classics collector vehicle policy in Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and Texas. The changes mark the program’s 51st year and introduce revised contract terms and new endorsement options.

The base form now gives insureds 60 days to report newly acquired collector vehicles, up from 30. It removes the vermin exclusion and adds up to $500 per vehicle for disaster relocation, capped at $5,000 per policy period.

New endorsements include a Salvage Value option that lets owners keep vehicle salvage up to $50,000 after a total loss, and a One Value endorsement that bundles coverage for items such as car covers, post-loss trailering, tools, personal effects, and vehicle papers.

Berkley One Classics is available in 30 states, and the expanded coverage is being introduced in nine of them: Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
