Asurion to acquire Domestic & General
Asurion has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Domestic & General, one of the largest appliance care providers across the UK and Europe.
Founded more than a century ago, Domestic & General has a repair network of ~25,000 independent engineers and 6.8 million subscription customers. Upon closing, Domestic & General will continue to operate under its brand as a business unit of Asurion.
According to a report by Bloomberg, the deal values the UK warranty business at $2.74 billion.
