QBE launches Marine insurance in the Netherlands

QBE has introduced its marine insurance offering in the Netherlands, marking its fourth launch in the EU following France, the Nordics, and Germany. The initiative is led by Paul Peerdeman, a veteran with over 35 years of experience in marine insurance, who joins QBE as head of marine underwriting in the Netherlands.

Based in Amsterdam, Peerdeman will oversee the rollout of QBE’s Marine Cargo and Fine Art & Specie products, tailored for customers engaged in domestic and international trade.
