Zephyr Insurance partners with Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund

Heritage Insurance  announced that its subsidiary, Zephyr Insurance, has partnered with the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund (HHRF) to serve as a servicing facility for processing hurricane commercial property insurance applications from Condominium and Townhouse Associations of Apartment Owners.

As one of only two selected partners, Zephyr will help facilitate access to coverage in Hawaii’s volatile hurricane market. The partnership aligns with Heritage’s strategy to leverage its infrastructure for non-risk bearing fee income while supporting catastrophe-prone communities.

Heritage writes approximately $1.4 billion in personal and commercial residential premiums across 16 states, including Hawaii, through its subsidiaries Heritage Property Casualty Insurance Company, Narragansett Bay Insurance Company, and Zephyr Insurance Company.

“We are pleased to announce that our subsidiary, Zephyr Insurance, has been selected as one of two partners to operate as servicing facilities on HHRF’s behalf. This partnership highlights Zephyr’s experience and strengthens our collective ability to protect the communities from the unpredictable Hawaii hurricane market.” – Ernie Garateix, CEO of Heritage Insurance.
