Accelerant files for IPO

Accelerant filed for an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.

Accelerant operates a risk exchange that connects underwriters with capacity providers. The company publicly disclosed $343M in funding.

As of March 31, the platform had 232 members, 96 risk capital partners, and $3.5B in written premiums. Accelerant recorded $27.2 million in net income attributable to the company in 2024.

Accelerant has three operating segments – Exchange Services, which is the core offering of Accelerant, MGA Operations, and Underwriting.
