Desjardins
has appointed Denis Dubois as its next President and CEO, effective September 2, 2025. He will succeed Guy Cormier, who will remain in place until then and continue as a strategic advisor through March 2026 to support the transition.
Dubois, a credentialed actuary, joined Desjardins in 2003 and currently serves as EVP of Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance. He previously led the P&C division and has overseen three of the group’s five business sectors. He played key roles in Desjardins’ acquisitions of State Farm’s Canadian operations and Guardian Capital Group’s distribution businesses.
Desjardins serves 7.8 million members and clients and celebrates its 125th anniversary this year.
