Desjardins adds Sword Health to its digital care offering
Sword Health has partnered with Desjardins Insurance to offer digital physiotherapy and pelvic health solutions to more than 2.1 million plan members across Canada. Desjardins will make Sword’s AI-powered Thrive (MSK care) and Bloom (pelvic health) programs available without a referral, giving members direct access to remote treatment guided by licensed clinicians.
The insurer says the move addresses rising demand for MSK and pelvic health support, limited in-person capacity, and the need for more convenient, preventive care options. Sword already reports shorter disability durations and high satisfaction scores among Canadian users.
For Sword, the deal marks one of its largest payor partnerships in Canada and expands its footprint in the group benefits market.
