Era raises $6 million

Era Finance, a fintech startup offering a money management app, has raised $6.2 million in seed funding co-led by MaC Venture Capital, Third Kind Venture Capital, and Protagonist, with participation from Clocktower Ventures, K5 Ventures and Northzone.

Founded in 2023, the San Francisco-based startup leverages AI and human advisors to personalize wealth management advice and automate financial tasks. The app allows users to connect their financial accounts, move money, receive recommendations, and more. Users can sign up for free, or subscribe to a package that includes unlimited money movements and AI assistance.

The startup also unveiled a partnership with AI firm Cerebras Systems to bring AI to personal finance.

“Era goes beyond traditional fintech by not only tracking financials but also providing personalized recommendations and taking action on your behalf based on your wealth goals. With its innovative use of AI, Era empowers users to understand and grow their wealth in ways that were previously inaccessible. The accessibility and transparency it offers set a new standard for the future of personal finance, positioning Era to capture a wide segment of consumers who are seeking smarter, more effective financial tools.” – Marlon Nichols, Co-Founder and Managing General Partner at MaC Venture Capital.
