Kasa partners with Vertical Insure
Embedded insurance startup Vertical Insure has partnered with Kasa Living , a hospitality management platform for hotels and apartments.
The partnership integrates travel insurance directly into Kasa’s booking system, providing guests with built-in trip protection.
Kasa, founded in 2016, works with real estate owners to convert multifamily units and boutique hotels into managed accommodations. Kasa operates more than 80 properties in over 40 cities, with backing from institutions like Starwood Capital and Brookfield. The team includes experts with backgrounds in real estate, hospitality, and technology from companies like Apollo, Airbnb, and Goldman Sachs.
Last year, Kasa raised $70 million in Series C funding led by Citi Ventures and FirstMark Capital, with participation from New York Life Ventures, Fireside Investments, RET Ventures, Zigg Capital, and Ribbit Capital.
