Merchants Insurance Group named among Buffalo’s fastest growing companies

Merchants Insurance Group  has been recognized for the sixth year in a row on Buffalo Business First’s “Fast Track” list, which highlights Western New York’s fastest-growing companies based on three-year revenue growth. Merchants Insurance Group ranked 31st out of 39 companies on the 2024 list, with a revenue growth rate of 14.7% from 2021 to 2023.

Charles E. Makey, III, President and CEO of Merchants Insurance Group, expressed pride in the company’s consistent recognition, stating, “This recognition – for six consecutive years – speaks to Merchants’ pattern of growth and profitability, and to our company’s strength throughout industry cycles.” He attributed the achievement to the hard work of Merchants’ team and the company’s commitment to its agent partners and policyholders.

Mr. Makey attended a private reception with other Fast Track honorees at The Terrace at Delaware Park, hosted by Buffalo Business First, to celebrate this achievement.
