cyan and wefox Austria launch new cyber offering

cyan AG, a provider of cybersecurity solutions, and Wefox Austria, a provider of a SaaS platform for insurance brokers, are launching a new offering that includes cyber protection and insurance.

The app, weprotect, will be sold directly via wefox, as well as via connected brokers or affinity partnerships. The security features, developed by cyan, can detect cyber threats in real time, block phishing attacks and check for identity leaks, among other things. The cyber insurance coverage is offered by Allianz Partners and it reimburses users if they suffered from phishing attacks, identity theft or data loss. The app only works with an active insurance policy from Allianz Partners.

The new offering will become available in early September.
