Laka launches in France

Bicycle insurance MGA Laka is now available in France, its fifth market alongside the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

French customers can now purchase coverage that includes theft insurance, accidental damage, roadside assistance, and race and travel cover.

Founded in 2017, Laka has an underwriting relationship with multiple companies such as Zurich and Baloise. The startup has raised ~$26 million to date.
