Aon to sell its Netherlands personal lines business
Aon has signed a definitive agreement with BlackFin Capital Partners to sell its private insurance and underwriting activities in the Netherlands (affinity and MGA) to the private equity firm.
With this agreement, Aon in the Netherlands, as part of its FutureForward strategy, further aligns the company’s activities with risk capital and human capital solutions, with a focus on the B2B market.
After the sale takes place, Aon will no longer serve customer groups for private insurance in the Netherlands, with certain exceptions such as expats and international student insurance.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. Financial terms were not disclosed.
