Cox Mobile partners with Asurion

Cox Mobile, the new mobile phone service by broadband company Cox Communications , has selected Asurion to provide device protection and trade-in services for its wireless customers.

In keeping with Cox’s vision to provide a simple, flexible and reliable mobile experience, customers enrolled in a Cox Mobile Protection Plan can enjoy the convenience of same-day device replacement or cracked screen repair delivered to their doorstep if their device is damaged, lost, stolen or malfunctioning past its warranty period. Customers can also visit one of the 750+ uBreakiFix® by Asurion or Asurion Tech Repair & Solutions™ stores nationwide for fast, on-site cracked screen repair through their protection plan coverage. Protection plan customers even have access to free tech support via Asurion’s network of Experts.

In addition to device protection, Asurion will also administer Cox Mobile’s trade-in program, allowing customers to save on a new device when they trade in their old one. With more than 20 years of supply chain expertise, Asurion’s systems allow for a simple trade-in experience that delivers maximum value to customers, with some devices fetching up to $500+ in credit toward a new phone.
