Mr Price Money to offer life insurance from GuardRisk

Mr Price Money has launched a life insurance product called Life Matters. The purchase doesn’t require a medical examination and customers can apply simply by answering a limited number of questions.

The new offering is being made available to Mr Price’s existing credit card customers, with Cape Town-based startup Root assisting with the infrastructure for Life Matters.

Coverage is underwritten by Guardrisk .

Mr Price Money a division of Mr Price Group , an authorized financial services and credit provider. Aside from offering life insurance, it also offers funeral and phone insurance.
