Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric now comes with 3-year insurance from Allianz
Allianz has partnered with Volvo to offer customers who purchase the fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric motor liability and fully comprehensive insurance for three years.
The insurance contains all the important coverage modules, from self-damage cover to reimbursement for new prices and repairs in a specialist workshop. For the electric vehicle, there is a special additional electrical cover in addition to the damage events of the partially comprehensive and fully comprehensive insurance, which for example protects the battery against damage, destruction, or loss as part of an all-risk cover (exceptions include normal aging processes, design or material defects, chemical reactions). In addition, consequential damage caused by animal bites or short circuits as well as the theft of the charging cable are also insured.
“We are pleased that with Volvo we can offer a product that is consistently conceived from the customer’s perspective. With the purchase of the electric vehicle, the customer already has the comprehensive security of an Allianz motor insurance. This is once again a result of the joint safety partnership with Volvo, in which both partners focus on the customer experience.” – Allianz Board Member Dirk Steingröver.
“We want to make the purchase of our first all-electric model, the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric, as easy and straightforward as possible for our customers . That is why we have developed an all-round carefree package together with our proven partner, Allianz, which includes extensive vehicle insurance through VCIS Germany GmbH. The customer can get off to a safe and worry-free start with his new electric car.” – Thomas Mengelkoch, who is responsible for Finance & Insurance Services at Volvo Car Germany.
