5 insurers and reinsurers launch a blockchain initiative

Allianz, Aegon, Munich Re, Swiss Re and Zurich announced the launch of a new initiative called Blockchain Insurance Industry Initiative, or B3i for short, with the goal of providing a meeting ground for the companies to exchange ideas, test use cases and pursue concepts that could ultimately reshape how they deliver insurance services.
